Welcome to Čajkovskij Apartments guest zone. We hope you will feel in your chosen apartment like at home. In order to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible, we have prepared for you information that you will appreciate before your arrival (house rules, directions, surroundings) and information about the apartment’s equipment, including instructions. Important information regarding the entry of personal vehicles into the city centre

It does not concern our neighbourhood Zabovresky, where our apartments are located … here you can park for free

Since September 1, 2018, residential parking has been introduced in Brno. As a visitor to the city of Brno, you can park in the center and its surroundings in all the streets, which are in visitor mode (marked with an orange stripe).

In these streets you have to register your vehicle’s RN in the pay machine and pay (payment is possible in cash or by credit card). In the closest center of the city (first price zone) you can park for 30 minutes for free and then for every hour you pay 40 CZK. In other areas of residential parking (second price zone) you can park for an hour free of charge, for the next (second) hour of parking you pay 10 CZK and for each additional hour 20 CZK.

Arrival

Check-in is possible from 15:00 (3pm) to 22:00 (10pm) or upon agreement and for a fee of 6 EUR before 15:00 or between 22:00 – 00:00. It is also possible to check-in after midnight for additional 10 EUR.

We do not have a reception at Čajkovskij Apartments, so please let us know your estimated time of arrival time the day before your arrival.

It will make it easier for us to arrange cleaning to make sure your apartment will be ready on time and also we will be present to hand you over the keys.

Departure

Check-out is until 11:00 (11am). Upon agreement and a fee of 6 EUR it is possible to check-out later (latest 2pm). Please leave the keys in the apartment on the table. Thank you

House rules

1. Dear guests, please respect the night hours between 22:00 and 07:00, especially in the apartment with balcony (No.1) and terrace (No.3) in consideration to the other guests and our neighbors.

2. Please do not use towels to wipe the floor or remove make-up

3. Please make sure the roof window is closed and all appliances are switched off everytime you leave the apartment

4. In case of group reservation, please do not leave the entrance doors to the apartments open

How to find us?

Highway D1:
The apartment house Čajkovskij Apartments is located near the exit from the city ring road in Brno’s neighbourhood Žabovřesky and is very easily reached from both motorways D1 and D2.

If you are going to arrive from the D1 motorway, take the exit no. 190 towards SVITAVY and continue in the direction of SVITAVY along the city ring road E461 about 5,7km. The exit to the Čajkovskij Apartments house is signposted “Žabovřesky” and it is the second exit after turning to Veverská Bitýška. When you exit the city ring road, turn first right. After crossing the main street with tramlines, you will arrive to our street Čajkovského. Our house is about halfway down the street on the left side.

Public transport:
At the tram stop “Hlavní nádraží”, take the tram no. 12 (towards Technologický park). At the tram stop “Česká”, change tram to no. 3 or 11 and continue to “Burianovo náměstí” stop where you get off.

Continue by walk along the main street. Our street “Čajkovského” is the second on the left (shoe shop Soha’s is at the corner). Our bright green house with number 19 is halfway down the street on the left.

Breakfast

You can get breakfast in a nearby café “Gallery“, which is about 150m from our house. Click HERE for directions.

Parking

Parking is possible on our street Čajkovského. Usually our guests park right in front of our house.

WiFi

Free Wi-Fi access is available in all our apartments. You can find the network name and password in the information leaflet.

Our services

We offer alcoholic beverages (beer, red and white wine, sparkling wines) and Pfanner juices, which will be ready in your fridge. The price list is on the table.

For our foreing quests we are offering car rental. You can find the price list on our website under the Menu tab “CAR RENTAL“.

We can pick you up at Brno’s Airport (BRQ) for a fee of 16 EUR. Please let us know in advance your flight number.

After a long journey, you can look forward to several types of tea, Davidoff soluble coffee or Tassimo coffee capsules, sparkling water and coffee creamers in the fridge. All is included in the price.

Smoking policy

All our apartment are non-smoking.

Bed linen and hotel towels

In each apartment you will find clean bed linen and hotel towels. If your reservation is for 1-2 nights, you will have 1 set of towels for each person (hand towel, standard towel and bath towel).

If your stay is longer than 2 nights, you will also have a spare set of towels (or you can change towels at any time on request).

Payment

You can pay in cash in CZK and EUR or by credit card upon arrival.

Payment is always charged on arrival and not on departure!

Based on the terms and conditions of our partner Booking.com, we have the right to pre-authorize your credit card, which is entered during the reservation.

We only pre-authorise highly demanded dates, suspicious reservations, and also if you do not communicate with us.

If the pre-authorisation is successful, we will immediately cancel it. In case the pre-authorisation is unsuccessful due to a lack of funds or invalid payment card, we will mark the reservation as invalid and cancel it.

Pool rules

The outdoor pool is only open during the season (June-August) depending on the current weather.

Opening hours of the pool area are 10:00 (10am) to 19:00 (7pm). You can use the pool for an hour of each day of your stay (the day of your check-out is exluded) but you must book the time in advance so the pool area can be prepared and will remain private only for your apartment.
